Hello Guys,
Happy to be here.
I was wondering if someone had the same issue , I newly bought Lancer but I am hearing annoying rattle sound in the dashboard like a vibrating sound because of something loose, I don't know exactly. but If someone had the same issue or had removed this rattle please share your experience.
Thanks in advance and Happy to be here.
Cheers,

It could be that someone before you has taken the dash apart and broken a few clips?

mine had rattle sound, but came from engine bay and only during certain RPMs.

I should have asked what kind of rattle and is it only at certain speeds or RPMs?
I had half my dash apart recently to fit a new instrument cluster and as far as I can tell there are no rattles so far.
With a front seat passenger go for a drive and try pressing on parts when you hear it, might narrow down what is making the noise.

Only moving part in dash is air conditioner - heater. Try turning these systems completely off at the middle controller and switch to
re-circulation to stop all air flow, then listen!. Secondly under the dash behind the glove box, looking at it from the passenger sea,
there's a plastic panel under the air con: unit that is loose and if tapped with your hand will rattle!!? Hold steady with your hand or preferably a passengers hand for safety sake, when in motion. Hope these help.

Needless to say, do this in a super safe condition or like sarusa suggested with a passenger.
Don't want to scratch / put a dent on that shiny car

Guys,
I've a 20111 manual CJ sedan and have what I would describe as a resonant buzzing at revs between 2000 and 2500 rpm. It appears to be independent of gear. Suspect causes have been the heat shields in the engine bay (over the manifold and against the firewall) and the dash, but to date I have not traced the cause.
It may be of use to some to note that the plastic garnish around the passenger light and hazard switch was missing two white nylon clips from new. The attached photos shows the garnish and one of the mounting posts, with an irregular slot highlighted by a paper background. Two posts had no such slots and I had to drill them out to fit the missing clips. In my case at least, the buzzing is still apparent with the garnish removed.
I welcome anyone who can identify the source of the buzzing.

Yeah my VRX was missing those when I pulled it apart for the first time too (though I am second owner). Did you manage to get some clips? I had to contact mitsubishi, I have the part number if you wanted to get some.

Yes thanks. Mitsubishi supplied them free of charge as the car is still under warranty. I should have, but did not get the part number, so it would be worth listing for reference if you have it.
BTW, on the posts whereyour clips were missing, were the slots missing?

Slots didn't seem to be missing for me. See
this thread for item part number.
