Greetings from Tim in Brisbane

Postby Tim Spence » Sun Jun 01, 2014 1:43 pm

Hello fellow Lancer owners, my name is Tim and I've just bought a white 2009 CJ lancer ES this week.

My wife will most likely drive it the most but I've loved the shape since it came out and finally got the opportunity to buy one at the right price.
There will be some mods to the car as time goes on, certainly not as much as some of you have done, there are some very nice cars on here from what I can see.

I will have some questions about it along the way as this is the first Lancer I've owned. First of which is, I discovered a tail light out, passenger side inner. I took the bulb out to see that it wasn't blown and when I put it back in it worked. Then 2 days later, I see it's not working again.
Is this a common thing? Any suggestions on a permanent fix?

I appreciate any future help and look forward to meeting some of you at a local meet some time.

Hey mate. Welcome.

Lol I was just about to ask about your photo because thats not an ES haha. Its more ideal to get your own dp so we know who were talking to

Make sure the bulb is in tight and check the wiring too.
They will learn... I will always be a step ahead

Thanks for the warm welcome. I'll find a new one 'bye2u' it came up in a google search of "ClubCJ"

Hopefully I'll be at the upcoming meet to put faces to names.

As for the tail light, I have had it out and it seems to fit properly and wires all seem to have a solid attachment. I'll dig a little further, just wanted to find out if this might have been something that other may have dealt with first.
