Body Kit help

Postby Jeremy191 » Wed Apr 04, 2012 5:36 pm

Im getting a 2010 CJ Lancer VRX in grey (because there are no white ones at the moment), im looking at getting a extreme dimensions evo x look kit and i was wondering should i get the whole car painted white when i install the body kit or should i get a white lancer and just get the kit colour matched. Also if anyone knows the approximate price for a full paint job or colour matching job could you let me know. thanks

You would be much better off waiting for a white one imo. So much easier and cheaper than trying to paint the whole car white..

Concord Customs do paint jobs for various parts, really good quality.

I'm pretty sure they have quotes in there vendor channel.

But it's quite a bit if it's a whole body kits (rear, skirts, hood, front)

Far better off waiting for a white one.

If the body kit is fibreglass, cost of painting is the least of your worries. There could be many hours in modifying the body kit just to fit a car it was designed for.

You are up for $5k min for a respray, and that probably won't include a proper colour change...
