anything on your car in terms of warranty seems to be very specific with mitsubishi.. i asked a few times at the dealership and was told what ever you mod, if something breaks in your car and the mod has no correlation to the fault they’ll fix it under warranty! so if you get an exhaust system and something on it stuffs up, warranty won’t be covered. if something happened to your engine and you have a full exhaust system, of the mechanics see it’s not the fault of the aftermarket exhaust system they will fix it under warranty

Motorcycle manufacturers do the same. They know full well just about everyone who buys a motorcycle the first thing they do is swap the exhaust out

In the past you very rarely heard of anyone having trouble getting warranty items attended to. AH! but then it was only a 1 year warranty or just 12,000 miles.
