Way up in Townsville
Hi everyone, my name's Laura and as you might have guessed I live in Townsville, QLD.
About 3 months ago I bought a brand new Lancer CJ ES Sport my14.5 in "Lightning Blue". It's a really good car and drives like a dream although I want to add some performance mods for speed and sound. I was looking at the CNT axleback exhaust, http://www.lancershop.com/customer/home.php?cat=169 ,but I'm open to other suggestions ':D'
My interest are really dependant on my mood but generally I love animals, the defence force, music, movies and cruising around in my car.
This is what my very stock standard car looks like: http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NDI2WDY0MA==/ ... o/$_20.JPG
Thanks for taking the time to read this and feel free to send me a message on any mods you recommend ':o'

My first was lightning blue too - looks great!
For me, the first thing I would do is look around for a set of 18" wheels, exhaust after that, have a look at your local Exhaust & Muffler places and price up a custom exhaust - it can often work out cheaper, plus you can get the look & sound you want...

Thanks everyone. Blue's my favourite colour
I was planning on plasti dipping my current 16" wheels then putting some blue line work on them to make them stand out. I haven't looked at other wheels for it yet but will have a look tonight and same goes with the custom muffler/exhaust. I never actually thought about custom mufflers. Any suggestions on what type I should go for? (chambered, turbo or glasspack). I like the sound of the cherry bomb glasspack but red wont suit my blue car haha
Thanks for the advice Zaphod

You need to link an image. It's using BBS script i think, so something like:

This of course means you have to upload the image to a host. I recommend www.imgur.com. They even have a button when you upload the image which copies the correct script into your clipboard. Then you just paste it in your response here

That'll be amazing, thanks!
I have a question, Is there anything I cant do to my car while it's under warranty?
I got quoted $500 for a Supercat straight thru exhaust but i'm not sure if adding those kinds of mods will void my warranty.
And does anyone know if Supercat is good?

I cannot advise you on warranty, but as far as mods go, a 200 cell CAT is a very good start, followed by a Ralliart intake snorkle.
There is a thread hearabouts on a trick intake mod to the radiator top cover, where the intake air is drawn into the intake snorkle - this also is good value.
Other than that, tune it and then leave it alone.
The mods listed above will get it breathing and maximise the cold air ability.
Not that you can expect much cold air up there anyway, but avoiding the hot stuff is a good idea.
