hello! kenta from melbourne vic.

Postby lonesome_pwince » Sat Aug 09, 2014 11:35 pm

hi guys, beville's my name.
i'm new here so go easy on me.

proud 2nd owner of a white '09 my09 mitsubishi lancer cj ralliart as of 5th july '14.
previous owner of the car was a woman, so the car has been well looked after during her ownership.

everything in the car is all stock except some stuff described below.
did a couple of small mods;

replaced majority of the car's lighting bulbs such as;
- high and low beams to super bright white ones
- fog lights to yellow ones
- front parker lights to ultra violet leds
- reverse lights to led.
- rego lights to ultra violet leds
- main and map interior lights to white led festoons

- replace the dealership number plate frames to just plain black ones of the same type.

future modifications;
- planning (still being finalized before proceeding) to have a custom 'bolt-on' cat back system fabricated in the form of 3" y-piped into 2 x 2.5" with cannons after each 2.5" pipes, similar to R4LLI4RT's setup in a way.

yeah these are just some changes for now, will add more when more ideas come to my mind.

ok, about myself;
in my spare time, i just like to go for drives here and there and on some occasional outings like bonfires and eatouts.

i am open to any suggestions recommended by members.

Yeah it is a fairly expensive luxury to add on but I am so glad the previous owner had it put in! One of the reasons I bought the car! :D

yeah i've been hearing the rockford is quite expensive. good find though.
my stock system is not too bad for what it is, i mainly have my iphone hooked up to it via aux for music, still sounds better than my sound system i had in my old magna ts (my previous car).

Yes totally agree the stock sound system is quite decent if you have a play with the settings you can get quite a bit out if it, I have played around with the stock sound system to as well as the Rockford Fosgate and got quite a bit out of it!

curious to know, are there any vibration issues in regards to the factory subwoofer?
