Re: Tacho

I wouldn't imagine our lancers have a wire. I'd imagine our factory tacho runs off the etac. You maybe able to connect it to a coil on the cylinder head but I'd think it's more work then it's worth and going to look very messy with wires everywhere and the tacho looking out of place I was thinking ...

Re: What could the problem be?

Sounds like you just need to adjust the throttle so it idles around 4000 rpm and your home and hose. Lol Seems a bit odd with a new battery installed Check the basics. Whack a DMM over the battery and see what kind of voltage your getting across the terminals with car running and go from there When...

Re: What could the problem be?

As a guess since everything works when revved I'd say you have a low voltage problem, possibly caused by a short circuit somewhere or a faulty alternator/serpentine belt. If you have a multimeter check the voltage across the battery and have someone rev the engine. If it's low, less than 10VDC then...

Re: Saas seats

Like a a little metal plate that also has the vin number ? No,it's a small cloth tag on the seam of the seat nearest the door and it says "SRS AIRBAG". Make sure the seats and rails you are looking at are ADR compliant.[/quote] Damn no seats for me. I also ended up scratching and denting ...

Saas seats

Hey guys,

I'm keen on getting a pair of Saas buckets seats in my lancer but I'm wondering if there would be any issues with the airbags Iv got a 2009 Es so it only has the front air bags I'm pretty sure and not on the sides ? Cheers
