Wasn't close to me, but worth the drive for the good price I got. Found my lancer on carsales, bought the cheapest new one.
I got mine from Daniel Wannenberg at Heartland Mitsubishi Castle Hill. Good honest guy, he gave me straight prices and didn't try to sell me any addon crap.

Lol you can actually feel the road!

I'd never used electric power steering before, all I have to say is there isn't a lot of feel, especially accelerating through corners.

I was thinking of getting a white LED strip and mount it to the bottom side of the radiator cover so it illuminates the space behind the front grille, is that legal?

If you tried you could probably connect it to the fuse and relay location in the fuse box.

Before I got my lancer, I was looking at getting blacked out lights all around but actually now owning it I find the stock ones to damn smexy, especially the tail lights.

Is VRX suspension different?

I already have an ES and I'm not looking to change that any time soon, but I was wondering if the VRX has different suspension to the ES/LXs? I know it has bigger wheels and hydraulic power steering, but are the springs the same?

It could depend on where you live, but you should also be aware that you can buy a brand new ES for <15k now (mine was 16k with reversing sensors+camera 2 weeks ago), http://www.carsales.com.au/car/bncis/demo/MITSUBISHI/LANCER?sort=~Price&silo=Stock&base=1216&eapi=2&vertical=Car&...

Who can be reccomended the most. Who is this 'Mr Cool' guy?

My uncle knows a guy who can do it for me for $170 no warranty or gauruntees. I'd rather pay a bit more and get some kind of a warranty so I can come back in a few weeks if it doesn't settle right. What would I be looking to pay?
