You can pull the vent out without pulling all the dash out. I did mine several years ago but can't remember how. Mitsubishi replaced my vent under warranty but it didn't change. It's a design fault. Your dealer is wrong. All glass in Lancers have uv protection, so you don't need to tint the rear privacy glass. 20% on the front matches but is illegal and you will need to open front windows to reverse at night especially in difficult locations. Worth it in my opinion as it looks terrible if it do...

also i was told by a mechanic that its best to remove the positive terminal first, i always thought it was the other way around No that's wrong.
