I not long ago had my 22,500 km Service on my MY12 Ralliart, the dealer is telling me I am nearly out of pads.... Im now at 26,000 and had a look, there is pads left but not lots. Im an Avionics engineer for an airline and I can tell you that, A GPS signal, although fairly weak in strength is in the 1.5 GHz range....Which is that high a frequency so that means, it can pass thru anything except thick Steel and concrete.
