If it's anything like when I had the single one in, it kinda messes with your eyes since you are now focussing on something nearer to you and then something further back. Can you confirm if the RA wheel has reach adjust, and if you've got it pulled out at all in the photos above? In the beginning, ...

ps. I'm still surprised at how much of the speedo it blocks!

It was difficult at first, especially when driving on a 40km/h zone. But I've learned to judge my speed in the months I've had the pod installed (if there is no traffic to follow...)

Here are some pics I took today. Apologies for the crappy iphone quality: http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx164/hec34_album/Picture026.jpg Side view. Note the gap between indicator stalk and pod. This is so the pod doesn't interfere with stalk operation: http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx164/h...

Hey Peter, Check out my garage. I have the rexpeed dual pod installed with 52mm Autometer gauges. I have no problems with clearance, fitment etc. Be advised though that the pods WILL block your tacho & speedo (to about 50 km/h as marked on the dial, but this depends on your seating position). Fi...

I've got the rexpeed twin pod mounted on my steering rack. It fits pretty well, however it DOES block your view of the speedo and tacho. The single gauge unit should only block your central display, up to about a quarter of the way (depends on high you sit/how tall you are). I've grown accustomed to...

I second Jace's comments above. I got my car tuned at MRT back in Jan' last year and couldn't be happier with the work and after sales support. They're more expensive than others out there but the peace of mind they provide with their warranty is, to me anyway, priceless. Another option you have is ...

What's their shop like? (is it clean, busy, etc). Does the tuner sound knowledgeable (on our RA's)? Don't assume just because they've done a few Evo's in the past (let alone other AWD fast cars) that they know anything about the RA....

Is this a shop in Sydney? Can't say I've ever heard of them. They have a 4WD dyno, yeah?

VW are very nice, having come from an Eos previously, the materials are first class, there is a resounding solid "thud!" when closing the door (as opposed to the hollow "clunk" when closing the Lancer) and interiors are first class, though I have heard of quite a few quality issu...
